Personal:

I'm a happily married guy with a 5 year old son. I started running on February 1st, 2010 with the goal of completing a triathlon (my one and only "official" race prior to that was the "Centerville half mile fun run" when I was about 8) In that following year I lost nearly 50 lbs, completed the triathlon, numerous 5Ks, 10Ks, bike races, and really started to lean towards running over the other two (though I still cross train with both).

I grew up hiking and riding horses in the mountains, so I've been drawn to take my running to the trails - and haven't looked back! I run them every chance I get, which is about 90% of the time!

Lunchtime run with Jun starting on the lower gully trail, crossing over 1300 E and heading up the upper gully trail as well. I only had some oatmeal earlier for breakfast this morning, and began feeling like I was running out of gas at about 4-5 miles in...Yeah, at least the last 5 were pretty much downhill. My legs actually felt good, no pain, soreness or even tightness, just no fuel in the tank to lift them up! I figure that its good to do that every now and then so you can deal with it when it happens in a race. :) Stopped by the Philidelphian and grabbed us some Philly cheesteaks to replenish the calories...So good.

Is it really spelled 'replentish' and 'Philidelphian'? I'm serious, I really don't know.

Well, my legs ARE sore AND tight. I blame you.

When I read your comment I didn't even remember typing that. Ha.

No, somehow a T snuck into replenish, and the Philidelphian is as good a guess as any-but I think its right. Thanks Teacher.

Ya, i think runnig out of feul is a good thing once in a while, especially when you can refuel on cheese steak! But I pretty much run alot so I can eat alot, so waht do I know, but that's my penny-and-a-half.
